Tris is Dr Tristan Marshall, a practising early modern theatre scholar at the University of Cambridge, where he’s a Senior Member in English at Robinson College. He also lectures at Shakespeare’s Globe, having been trained there in directing and in acting by the Royal Shakespeare Company. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Historical Society in 2020 and as a member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators he’ll be judging the 2025 National Drama Festival.
Ed is a practising visual artist, working in both photography and in oils with a particular love of still life. He contributed work to the Royal Academy in 2024 and 2025 with a focus on modern interpretations of the classic. He’s a former Head of Design as well as a Senior Art Director, working with a keen eye on the final presentation of work, ensuring the boundaries between the disciplines are as seamless as possible. Skilled in the full suite of digital tools he is also a staunch advocate of effective AI technology use in art direction.
